We hope you’ll join us soon and see for yourself why we have been part of the Lapeer community for over 160 years. We are a church family of regular people who are committed to glorifying God by making disciples of all nations.

Sunday Services

God’s Word is at the center of our worship time. Corporate singing is an essential part of our worship to God, and singing biblical truths together as a church family is the foundation of our approach to music. We sing a combination of old and new songs and strive to ensure that each one is accurate, accessible, and appropriate. Each service includes a time of prayer and Scripture reading. Our pastors build their sermons on God’s Word and seek to offer practical application of biblical truth. During the first Sunday morning service of each month, we participate in the Lord’s Supper.

Our Sunday evening gatherings are less formal than our morning service and more varied in purpose. The overarching focus is on our life together as the body of Christ. We usually spend part of the time in small-group prayer and hearing ministry updates.

What to expect?

Parking

We have parking designated for our guests at the front of our building, and additional parking is available behind the building. Handicapped parking and accessible entrances are clearly marked at the front as well.

What to wear

We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, there will be others dressed much like you. Business casual is common on Sunday mornings. You will also find suits and ties, dresses and high heels, T-shirts, jeans, and flip-flops.
